Jeff Bezos? I don’t know him.

The world’s richest person may be synonymous with Amazon for some, but for a high school student, he’s just another unknown guest speaker.

Bezos surprised a Washington, DC, high school Monday, but one student seen in a viral video had no clue who the Amazon CEO was.

In the video, the Dunbar High School student is seen asking “Who’s Jeff Bezos?” twice, once to someone behind him. When the person off-camera informs him that he’s the top dog in one of the world’s largest companies, he did not seem impressed. According to Insider, the teen turns around and lifts his hands while saying, “Big deal, so what?”

The billionaire visited the computer science class offered by Amazon’s Future Engineer program, which funds many courses around the US. The Washingtonian reported several Amazon programmers were also in attendance to mentor students in the company’s program showcasing their work.

The student who asked about Bezos in the video, captured by NBC Washington’s Caroline Tucker, was not alone. Ramona Hutchins, the teacher of the class, told the Washingtonian “only about three” of her 15 students knew who Bezos was when he walked into the classroom.

Amazon said Bezos’ visit was unplanned and he spoke with students for about five minutes, per the Washingtonian.

The high-profile CEO, who also owns the Washington Post, isn’t just the richest man in the world; he’s also the richest man “ever” with a net worth of $160 billion despite a massive divorce settlement. He officially split from now-ex-wife MacKenzie Bezos in April after a nude photo scandal in which embarrassing “below the belt” selfies intended for his mistress Lauren Sanchez were leaked.
