Sheriff’s deputies are using social media to remind drivers to heed children’s safety by stopping for school buses.
Authorities said Thursday that several motorists were stopped by deputies after they drove past a stopped bus that was unloading children.
It happened Wednesday morning on U.S. 19, officials said. Deputies looked into the complaints and found “there are numerous drivers just blowing by stopped school buses,” the Tampa Bay Times reported.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office reminded people it’s the law to stop for stopped school buses.
A woman posted video of the incident, cheering authorities as they stopped vehicles.
