In the internet age almost everyone wants to go viral.
From YouTubers to major marketing companies, one video or tweet that gets swept in the internet’s current can raise the number of views it receives from the thousands to the millions.
Three particular standouts: Apple’s Siri short with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, ‘Captain America’ Chris Evans’ Omaze “Escape” video to raise awareness for the Christopher’s Haven charity and the new interactive online video series, “Guilty Party,” created by AT&T to tackle cyberbullying.
All three films went viral, but only one can win the USA TODAY Audience Award for the best viral film — aired between January 1, 2017 and January 22, 2018. Created in partnership with the Brand Film Festival, the award gives you the power to decide which spot was the best.
Online voting begins Tuesday, April 3 at 10 a.m. ET and runs through 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, April 13 at brandfilmfestival.usatoday.com. The winner will be announced on May 3 at the festival’s event in New York.
