UConn Men Make A Splash At Dan Hurley’s Place In Viral Video

The first game of the season is still two months away, but the UConn men’s basketball team has already made a pretty big splash, if you will.

A 10-second video of the Huskies at a pool party this weekend at the new Connecticut home of coach Dan Hurley was making viral rounds on social media Monday, Hurley voicing his official blessing via Twitter.

In the video, players are standing around an in-ground pool and, one-by-one, jump in, touching and passing the ball off as they go.

After eight passes, the ball is dunked by Kwintin Williams, who is known for spectacular dunk videos. Alterique Gilbert and Sidney Wilson were among those handling the ball in the fast-moving video, but it appears all, or nearly all the team was in and around the pool.

The video appeared on Jalen Adams’ Instagram account on Sunday. On Monday morning, the program’s official Twitter account put it out there, with hashtags #ThisIsUConn and #DoMore, and it quickly caught on.
