Manchester United supporters have been sharing their relief after a clip of Andreas Granqvist went viral.
United were monitoring a move for the Sweden international last year as Jose Mourinho looked at signing a new central defender to bolster his defensive options.
The 33-year-old was loosely linked with a January move to Old Trafford but his hopes of a return to England appeared to end as soon as Mourinho was sacked.
Many supporters were baffled by the links with the former Wigan Athletic defender at the time, and it seems they are even more relieved to miss out on the veteran centre-back after his latest exploits.
A clip of Granqvist has gained traction on social media after his latest horror show against Norway in the international break.
The Helsingborgs defender can be seen trying to overhead kick a header away from goal before falling on his backside and seeing the ball go into the goal.
Although the moment was hilarious for supporters to watch, many are just thankful he never actually ended up moving to United.
It would have been spectacular
Sigh, a trio of Granqvist, Smalling and Jones, that's better than Skrtel, Lovren and Sakho in terms of banter https://t.co/Xt1dbh9AJ6

The dream duo
I would have paid a lot of money to watch him play alongside Phil Jones.

Sweden’s gain is United’s loss…
Wasn't he meant to be the better in the pairing with Lindelof?

Granqvist is the worst player I’ve ever seen

Such a shame they didn't get him. #baller

It wasn’t pretty
If we were going to tell the story of Andreas Granqvist performance against Norway this situation would be the most telling. pic.twitter.com/AhugExoU6k

Other than that, he was great
He had an absolutely horrendous game, he fluffed a pen(it went in anyway), and let Norway score 3 despite our defence usually being good(I blame Lindelöf being missing and Olsen being terrible).
