A video has emerged highlighting the passing prowess of Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and it certainly backs up Jamie Redknapp’s claim that the Belgian is the best ball player the Premier League has ever seen.
The 26-year-old claimed his 11th assist of the season, the most in the top flight so far, as the league leaders waltzed past West Brom at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
De Bruyne picked up the ball on the left before cutting open the visitors’ defence with a sublime through ball, Fernandinho running on to break the deadlock with a neat finish.

The former Chelsea man then went on to double the lead with a goal of his own but it was his passing ability that once again had fans talking following the game.
And a clip showcasing his best passes of the season has quickly gone viral on social media with supporters recognising just what a talent the league has in its midst.
Sportsmail columnist Redknapp has been one of De Bruyne’s biggest proponents, describing the Belgium international as a player ‘whose passing is on another level.’

‘His range is the best I have seen,’ the former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder continued.
‘The slide-rule pass to play in a team-mate, the cute reverse passes, the sweeping cross-field balls — there is nothing the Manchester City midfielder cannot do.’
De Bruyne has been the biggest factor in City’s 15-point league lead and is the odds-on favourite to be crowned the PFA Player of the Year.
