Family of tigers drink water from river. Viral video is your treat for the day


A lovely video of a family of tigers drinking water from a river has gone viral on social media. The 14-second clip was shared online by Susanta Nanda of the Indian Forest Service (IFS). It shows four tigers – three out of which appear to be cubs – drinking water from a river.

In his tweet, Nanda also shared a piece of information about tigers, saying that big cats can live without food for two weeks. “But without water for 4 days max,” Nanda added.

“Next few days will be at the tiger capital of India- Pench & Central Indian tiger landscape, source of life sustaining water for many. Enjoy the clip of the family having water,” an excerpt from Nanda’s tweet reads.

The internet is watching the video on loop as it has already been viewed over 5,000 times. It has garnered almost 700 likes and has been retweeted frequently as well.
