With an openly queer Muslim frontman, the controversial Lebanese band Mashrou’ Leila refuses to stay quiet despite being banned in Egypt and Jordan http://cnn.it/2hF1nHa

  1. the most beautiful people you’ll ever meet aren’t always the ones who catch your eyes first. No, the most beautiful are the ones that can never be figured out. The one you could talk with for many hours and still have a million things to ask. The people who have mind so lovely and special, you can help but fall in love with them.

  2. So sad 😞 how our world has fallen so far away from God our creator. I us back and that all that hurting hearts will be open to experience the He has for us all in Jesus Name 🙏🏽❤️

  3. I am sad to see the hurtful comments in response to this CNN video. Mashrou’ Leila is an inspiring band. Their music is powerful and is giving hope to so many people. Take a few minutes to listen to their music and read about the inspiration they offer. And please don’t imagine terrible things for them. They deserve our support. These are brave and visionary young musicians. 💚

  4. Bravery is not ignorance, you aren’t brave when you promote and spread falsehood, It is a very simple fact, God made a Man and a Woman, father and mother, mummy and Daddy not a man and a man, any of such is an invention of man, celebrating gay marriage is not bravery it is a reflection of ignorance and a distortion of Reasoning, if we say we are humans then we should not make ourselves lower than animals, even animals won’t celebrate such foolish behavior.

  5. Why they meddle in other countries’ own matters? Huh? If their actions aren’t affecting you then get your nose off and let them be! It’s none of CNN’s business to judge Egyptian people or people from any other countries for their lifestyle and culture
